Qualifications
Bachelor of Science (Architecture)
Bachelor of Architecture (Hons)
As a Registered Architect and Director, I lead a team of three graduates and one architectural student, managing projects of varying sizes and stages – from sketch design to construction. My responsibilities encompass all facets of the business, including operations, finance, marketing, and human resources.
Career Journey: My architectural journey began in Newcastle, where I studied Architecture and gained valuable experience at a small Sydney firm during my year off between 3rd and 4th year. I furthered my career in different parts of Australia due to my husband’s RAAF postings, progressing from small projects to overseeing a $25M University building. Reconnecting with a former classmate, Jon Webber, led me to my current role.
Passion and Achievements: What I love most about my job is the diverse collaboration with clients, stakeholders, engineers, planners, and authorities, ensuring the best project outcomes. I thrive on the intricacies of project requirements and stakeholder management, contributing to successful project delivery.
Personal Interests and Hobbies: Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, participating in their activities like netball, tennis, and touch football.
Future Goals: I am also looking forward to overseeing projects transitioning into construction, marking significant milestones in our project portfolio.
