Kristine Piggford

As Associate Director my responsibilities include managing projects, overseeing practice operations, and nurturing our people. I lead a dynamic team of Interior Designers, working on a broad range of projects across the Webber offices.
With over 25 years of professional experience, I have a solid track record of designing, developing, and delivering projects from concept to handover, excelling in client relationships and multi-stakeholder environments.

Career Journey: My career has spanned boutique design firms to large national practices and provided me with extensive experience in a variety of sectors including residential, commercial, workplace, aged care and retirement living, justice, and civic design.
I have specialist experience in education design and space planning where I have led a variety of significant projects across early learning, primary and secondary through to tertiary and trade training facilities, demonstrating my design expertise and project management skills.

Passion and Achievements: I work closely with clients, stakeholders, and team members to make the design process as smooth and enjoyable as possible. I believe that good design has the potential to improve function, profit, health, and quality of life and am passionate about creating designs that are as functional as they are aesthetically pleasing. This ensures spaces that are practical and are a pleasure to live and work in. My achievements include successfully delivering projects across various sectors, whilst maintaining successful long-standing working relationships with clients, coworkers, and industry collaborators.

Personal Interests and Hobbies: Travel has always been a passion of mine. Immersing myself in other cultures, seeing new places and appreciating a variety of design aesthetics has enriched my personal and professional life, and helped cultivate creativity, connection, and compassion.
I also love the ocean and experience great enjoyment from ocean swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, sailing and surf lifesaving where I am a volunteer and patrolling member.

Future Goals: Looking ahead, I am committed to continuing my journey of designing successful projects and fostering strong relationships with clients and team members. My goal is to contribute positively to the built environment while embracing new challenges and opportunities in the field of architecture and interior design.
