Daniel Foreman

As a Registered Architect and Project Leader, I lead a team of architects, graduates, and technicians, managing client briefs, budgets, programs, design, and documentation. My responsibilities include ensuring successful project execution, maintaining positive client and consultant relationships, and upholding the company’s reputation for excellence.

Career Journey: I began my career at Webber in April 2016 as a graduate architect, and over the years, I have steadily progressed to the role of Project Leader. My journey has been one of continuous learning and growth, allowing me to take on more responsibilities and lead various projects. I oversee project staff, including architects, graduates, and technicians, ensuring that projects are executed according to the client brief, budget, program, design, and documentation standards. My primary focus has been on designing fire stations, both rural and for FRNSW.

Passion and Achievements: What I enjoy most about my job is the ability to design buildings that are tailored to the specific needs of our clients. It’s incredibly satisfying to see clients happy with the functional and aesthetically pleasing buildings we create. One of my most significant projects was a house designed for a man in a wheelchair. This project, located in a heritage council precinct, met all accessibility requirements and has led to more accessible housing projects for our firm.

Personal Interests and Hobbies: Outside of work, I have a passion for running and enjoy playing video games on the computer with my friends. These hobbies help me relax and recharge, providing a good balance to my professional life.

Future Goals: Looking ahead, I am excited about the opportunity to work on projects in Perth, such as those for the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES). I recently relocated to Perth, and I am eager to contribute to the local community through these projects. My long-term goal is to advance within the office and eventually establish a WA office with a robust client list based in Perth.
