Webber was engaged to design a new integrated service centre and McDonald’s restaurant along Wine Country Drive, forming a key gateway to the Huntlee township. The development provides essential amenities for the growing community and regional travellers, including a full-service fuel station, convenience retail, McDonald’s drive-through and dine-in restaurant, play space, and associated car parking and landscaping.
The result is a contemporary, functional service centre that enhances local amenity and strengthens Huntlee’s role as a regional hub within the Hunter Valley.
Balancing high-traffic operational needs with Council’s planning objectives, the design addresses environmental sensitivities, safe circulation, and accessibility compliance. Webber prepared documentation for McDonald’s Australia, coordinated all specialist consultants, and delivered tender and construction documentation consistent with national design standards.
The result is a contemporary, functional service centre that enhances local amenity and strengthens Huntlee’s role as a regional hub within the Hunter Valley.
