turton road – under construction

The construction of a 10 unit development on Turton Road in New Lambton has begun. This development proposes 10 new, 2 storey, 2 bedroom strata title dwellings. The site is located in proximinty to the facilities and shops offered in the main street of New Lambton, close to several bus routes and only 150m from a common bus route line connecting most suburbs of Newcastle. This development will relate to the surrounding context of older single and two storey detached cottages, by splitting the built forms apart into smaller components and through the use of differing materials externally – face brick mixed with two types of lightweight cladding.
