Construction is underway on a low density residential infill development in the Cooks Hill heritage conservation area. The project consists of the retention and refurbishment of two existing single-storey cottages and the construction of a third two-storey dwelling. The unique design by Webber Architects maximises the development potential of the two sites whilst minimising the visual impact, and conforms to strict heritage guidelines. Many original elements of the existing cottages will be retained and reused in the project in accordance with Heritage Council Guidelines. It will be exciting to see this take shape over 2015.
