NSW Department of Fair Trading introduced new registration schemes 1 July 2021 for Class 2 (residential apartment buildings) related works, requiring design practitioners to rectify design issues before construction begins in the interest of saving time and money for all involved, and avoiding disappointment and stress for clients.
