jan gehl bike tour

Attended the Jan Gehl Bike Tour held on Sunday which travelled around Newcastle to show off the beauty of our city.  As a guest of the group Newcastle Now, Jan, a well renowned architect and urban planner has consulted on planning stategies for almost all of Australia’s capital cities and focuses on what people want rather than the planners and developers.  Jan said that he saw many nice places and streets during his tour of Newcastle and he thinks that there is alot to build on.  A fun, informative and interesting day out.
