a christmas message from webber architects

As we approach 15 years in business we are grateful for the ongoing support of our clients, consultants, colleagues, families and friends.

As Directors, Sandra, Keiran and I are proud of our firm’s experience, expertise, skills, and services, and the commitment of our team to continually learn, improve and bring to fruition architecture in which we can take pride; of which our clients and community can be proud; and in which innovation, buildability and sustainability have been aforethought.

This year we welcomed new team members, Lauren, Saara, Megan, and Candice.  Candice received registration with the NSW Board of Architects this year.  We celebrate her career accomplishment, feel her relief at completing this arduous process and, with another Registered Architect on our team, further enhance our service offering.

We value our role in fostering the development of our students and new graduates, and in providing ongoing opportunities within our practice.  We are excited about Megan’s impending final year graduation and wish team members, Rebekah and Chris well as they enter their final year of study.  We anticipate further success for each of them.

Webber Architects remains committed to ongoing education.  This year, Sandra and I both attended overseas study tours from which the education will influence our architecture going forward.  We place importance on active participation in our continual education program to ensure we stay progressive.

We have shared in the joy of several team members’ personal milestones this year including weddings, new babies and overseas travel adventures.  We have marveled at the resilience of those who have this year experienced adversities and those managing work and study simultaneously.  The strength of character of our team members combined with our team’s know-how, ability to work together and commitment enables Webber Architects to confidently take on any project regardless of size or complexity.

Some projects completed this year include a residential renovation and extension opposite Bar Beach, a mixed-use development in Hamilton East, a multi-unit development in Merewether, Stage 1 of Cooks Hill Surf Life Saving Club redevelopment, and a new fire station in Mount Druitt.

We currently have several projects on site including a new residence in Merewether, a new community centre in Fern Bay, and a Mona Vale home renovation and extension.  2018 will see the state-significant development application for a new school at Medowie.  We continue work on a mid-century apartment building in Rushcutters Bay, several outlets for a major restaurant chain and upgrades to the Oaks Waterfront Resort at The Entrance.  Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
Webber Architects will be closed from 2.00pm Friday 22nd December 2017 until 8.30am Tuesday 2nd January 2018.  We look forward to working with you in the new year.

Jon Webber, Director
