Milperra Public School Hall

Webber worked with School Infrastructure NSW to replace Milperra Public School’s ageing 1970s hall with a modern, flexible facility that now serves as a hub for learning, recreation and community life. The original hall was outdated, inaccessible and unable to meet the growing needs of students or the wider community. The redesigned hall delivers a bright, adaptable space for assemblies, indoor sport, music, performances and community gatherings. Operable glazed doors open the interior to surrounding outdoor areas, filling the space with natural light and creating seamless indoor–outdoor connections. Acoustic treatments, natural ventilation and durable finishes ensure comfort, efficiency and longevity.
Importantly, the upgrade also introduced compliance improvements. The hall now meets accessibility standards, accommodates Out of School Hours Care, and provides a safe, adaptable venue for community events. By retaining and reimagining the existing structure, the project preserved the school’s history while maximising resources in a sustainable, cost-effective way. The result is a contemporary multipurpose hall that supports education during the day, offers families reliable OSHC after hours, and welcomes local clubs and cultural groups on evenings and weekends. Milperra Public School’s new hall is more than just a building — it is a vibrant, inclusive community hub designed to grow with the school and the people it serves.
